After twelve years of enriching democracy in the capital, London Civic Forum has decided to close at the end of September 2012. This is due in large part to seeming lack of political will and the related reductions in public sector funding. We are hoping to transfer important parts of our work to another London charity, and hope to be able to update you on this very shortly. In the meantime, planned work over the next few months will go ahead and this website will remain live, becoming a legacy website after September, archiving reports, case studies, research and past material. Over the twelve years of its existence London Civic Forum delivered a number of programmes which were designed to promote and develop greater civic participation in London. Your Voice Your City helps voluntary and community organisations develop their skills and understanding of policy and decision-making structures and processes in London. Your Voice Your City now has a subsite hosted by LVSC here and archived resources can be found here.
