London Calling: Make yourself heard

17 November 2009

The Mayor has recently put a series of vital strategies out for simultaneous consultation, providing a unique opportunity for the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) to influence thinking and practice at City Hall and within the GLA Group.

'London Calling' will take place on 17 November 2009 from 9.45am-4pm at Coin Street Community Builders, Waterloo.  Join us on 'Super Tuesday' to find out more about the Mayor's London Plan, Economic Development Strategy, Transport Strategy and Health Inequalities Strategy, where you can begin to unpick the issues for your communities, start to formulate your responses and speak with GLA officials working actively on the strategies.

Many of London's VCS groups will be providing specialist support over the consultation period: London Calling is your gateway to this process.

Places are limited to ensure a broad representation of London's VCS groups, but you can register your interest now by contacting londoncalling@lvsc.org.uk for a booking form.

London Calling is delivered by London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC) in partnership with the Just Space Network, Planning Aid for London and London Civic Forum.
