How Transport for London Works

10 March 2010

10.30am- 1.30pm

10th Floor, 55 Broadway, London SW1H 0BD

The importance of transport is difficult to over emphasise. Transport connects us to friends, family, work, education and leisure. A lack of decent and accessible transport can isolate us and leave us unable to fully participate in society.

This event will look at the roles and responsibility of Transport for London and investigate how Londoners can influence the development of transport services in the capital.

This event is for voluntary and community sector representatives and aims to:

  • Inform participants about the work of Transport for London
  • Provide an opportunity for representatives of TfL to hear about the range of experience and expertise represented within the voluntary and community sector
  • Inform participants about how TfL works with boroughs on both a local and sub-regional level
  • Create an opportunity for increased dialogue between TfL and the voluntary and community sector

The event is FREE, but booking is required. To book a place, please complete and return the booking form to events@londoncivicforum.org.uk.
