How the London Assembly Works

Wednesday 14th December 2011 | 9am-12.30pm
Londons Living Room | Greater London Authority | City Hall | The Queen’s Walk | London SE1 2AA

An event by Growing London and London Civic ForumThe London Assembly holds the Mayor of London to account and investigates issues that matter to Londoners. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for voluntary and community sector organisations to hear about the work of the London Assembly in its role as watchdog for London. Participants had the opportunity to hear from senior personnel about the work of the London Assembly and gained an understanding of how Londoners can engage with its work.

With the Mayoral and London Assembly Elections in May this year the event gave participants the opportunity to find out more about the work of London Assembly.
