Programmes

Our programmes are the vehicles London Civic Forum uses to accomplish its goal of increasing civic participation across London.

The projects that these four programmes manage and support span active learning, research, events, networks and much, much more, always adhering to our vision of promoting a tolerant, inclusive and diverse city.

Below you will find the latest information on our current programmes and their projects, as well as a wide-range of resources produced by each area of work. Information on projects that have now been concluded can be found in the Archive.

Take Part Learning Programme

Take Part is an approach to active citizenship learning which builds people’s skills, knowledge and confidence to help them get more involved in their local communities in London.

The Big Opportunity

As the voluntary and community sector’s voice on London 2012, The Big Opportunity aims to ensure that Londoners get the opportunity to help shape the way the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games impact on their lives.

Your Voice Your City

Your Voice Your City helps voluntary and community organisations develop their skills and understanding of policy and decision-making structures and processes in London to help people in each community become actively involved in engaging with and influencing their local councils and other statutory bodies.

London Empowerment Partnership

Hosted and managed by London Civic Forum, the London Empowerment Partnership was part of the National Empowerment Partnership which was managed by the Community Development Foundation. It was funded between 2007 and 2011 by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
