Your Voice, Your City is also working closely with the London Empowerment Partnership (link to LEP page) so that it can take forward and benefit from, as well as ensuring a lasting legacy for the learning from the LEP and its subgroups. The LEP task force and Your Voice, Your City will work together to :

• Identify and prioritise key participation/ engagement policy areas for Londoners and public and VCS sectors

• Identify opportunities for influence of key decision makers across London and nationally

• Identify organisations from across public, private, VCS and academic sectors which could contribute to specific policy debates and discussion

Through this programme, London Civic Forum is working to develop voluntary and community sector organisations’ understanding of the role of important London agencies and funding bodies, including the Greater London Authority (GLA).

London Civic Forum also supports the development of opportunities for voluntary and community sector organisations to influence and shape the work of London’s agencies and funding bodies, particularly through involvement in the debate and shaping of policy.
